The Memphis C. S. Lewis Society was formed in 1996 at Memphis Theological Seminary and has been dedicated to the study of the life and writings of Clive Staples Lewis (1898 – 1963) for 30 years. Occasionally we discuss the works of authors who were influential on Lewis - from George MacDonald and G.K. Chesterton to fellow Inklings J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Williams, and Owen Barfield, as well as his brother Warnie Lewis and his wife Joy Davidman Lewis.
The Memphis C.S. Lewis Society currently meets the second Sunday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Law Offices of Stephen R. Leffler
in the Higginbotham Building, 2670 Union Avenue Extd, Memphis, TN
