The Memphis C. S. Lewis Society was formed in 1996 and is dedicated to the study of the life and writings of Clive Staples Lewis (1898 – 1963). Occasionally, we also discuss the works of other authors who were influential on Lewis - George MacDonald, G.K. Chesterton, Warren H. Lewis, Joy Davidman Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Williams, Dorothy L. Sayers, and Owen Barfield.
